No other bar in Denver schedules more punk, rockabilly, and outlaw country acts than Bender's Tavern. Located on East 13th Avenue just a block from the state capitol, the bar doesn't just pay tribute to musicians like Hank Williams and The Cramps, but also to a time when whiskey was the drink of choice and a night of cocktails didn't break the bank. Bender's Tavern also features an award-wining karaoke night and frequent burlesque and cabaret performances that help make it one of the most entertaining bars in Denver.

Over the years, Bender's Tavern has scheduled such amazing musicians as Devotchka, Lyle Lovett, The Addicts, and The Legendary Shack Shakers, just to name a few. The tavern features both a separate stage area for larger shows as well as small stage area in the bar area, providing two great areas to enjoy the mix of entertainers. The venue's spacious hardwood dance floor and commensurate stage provide a great space for musicians to play, as well as the many exotic burlesque shows featured at the tavern. Every Tuesday is Alley Kat Karaoke night, and there is a wide variety of other parties and events going on every week at Bender's Tavern.
